The Annual Midland College Holiday Evening takes place tomorrow evening (Thursday, December 2), on the MC Main Campus. CLICK HERE for more information. Among the events taking place that evening will be the annual MC Students In Philanthropy Chili Supper.

Marie Hall Academic Building - part of MC's Holiday Evening," writes Julia A. Vickery, MC's Student Development & Students In Philanthropy Coordinator. "$4 a bowl - WHAT A DEAL!!! We will also have raffle tickets available for purchase. Raffle items include a 22" flat screen TV; a night at the Hilton; a Massage; and a Beauty Basket ($150 value)."

The Midland College Students In Philanthropy Club (SIP) is an in-depth leadership training program which provides student members the opportunity to improve the quality of life in their community. Students learn about the importance of philanthropy and the role of nonprofit organizations in the community. Through the fundraising and grant-making process, students not only make needed contributions to nonprofit organizations, but also gain leadership and stewardship training through a structured program designed to educate, support and promote philanthropic leadership in the community.
