Spring 2011 semester enrollment figures indicate another record enrollment! MC enrollment is reported to be 7,425, which is a 9 percent increase over the spring 2010 semester. "This is the largest enrollment for any single semester — fall, spring or summer — in MC’s history," stated Dr. Michael Chavez, Dean of Enrollment Management.
“I am very pleased to see that all of our efforts in recruiting, advising and admitting students are paying off with another record enrollment for the spring 2011 semester,” MC President, Dr. Steve Thomas said. “This simply means that more and more students are taking advantage of the affordable and high quality education provided by Midland College. Our increasing enrollment indicates that the Midland community values MC, and we want to continue to provide Midlanders with quality education. MC students and the Midland community depend on us to provide academic courses that will transfer to four-year universities, hands-on career and technology training and opportunities for lifelong learning. They depend on us, and we will continue to deliver.”
